37 ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «”ត្រូវស្រឡាញ់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ជាព្រះរបស់អ្នក ឲ្យអស់ពីចិត្ត អស់ពីព្រលឹង និងអស់ពីគំនិតរបស់អ្នក” 38 នេះជាបទបញ្ជាទីមួយ ហើយសំខាន់ជាងគេ។ 39 ហើយបទបញ្ជាទីពីរក៏សំខាន់ដូចគ្នា គឺ “ត្រូវស្រឡាញ់អ្នកជិតខាងរបស់អ្នកដូចខ្លួនឯង” 40 គ្រប់ទាំងគម្ពីរក្រឹត្យវិន័យ និងគម្ពីរហោរាមានឫសគល់ចេញពីបទបញ្ជាទាំងពីរនេះឯង»។
